The mother and child wellbeing lifestyle is a gift by our Indian ancestors to our society to create a healthier civilization. However, these traditional concepts have not been passed on to the modern generation in a structured way’. ~ Dr. Rekha Chaudhari
At the Mothers Touch Foundation, we focus on reviving the old Indian traditional concepts of mother and child care. We train the traditional birth attendants to work with medical professionals to better manage childbirth complications and postpartum care.
We emphasize on the ‘DAI or Caretaker concept’. The ancient rituals that we practise have a deep social impact on modern mother-child relation.
We are aiming to create job opportunities for over 60,000 women and, make them self-dependent by helping them work independently as traditional birth attendants or with health centres.
